Football (NOT American 'Football') Fever

A group of us (a picture of us here having lunch at Steak 'N Shake)
went to watch the MLS Finals at the Pizza Hut Stadium
up in Frisco last Sunday afternoon. Most of us went wearing international
jerseys of our own, which of course was such a crowd pleaser. The game
was between New England and Los Angeles.

This was close to where we sat. We had the best seats ever!

New England and Los Angeles playing it hard.

*Note: Thanks to Jeremy for these awesome pictures, taken with his brand new (and very nice) digital camera.*

Oh man, you should go there. The stadium is really nice. Actually, come January they're going to start bringing in part of the Mexican soccer league to play here in the States. Josue is a big fan of that too and we're planning on going to at least one of those games then. If you're interested, perhaps we should go together! Tickets aren't that expensive. We paid $20 per person for those seats this last time.

They should have Euro teams come over next year for exhibitions, since this stadium is now the pinnacle of American soccer.

I'm the one in the Rapid Vienna jersey. I thought it was cool because I overheard a guy as we came in say, "Now there's a jersey you don't see everyday."
